I'm psyche to welcome more individuals to embark on the Big 30 journey to geriatric platform. Sit tight, hang on to those walking sticks and stuff up on calcium pills....Its gonna be helluva ride. We had dinner at New York New York, wanting to attempt on the huge Yankee Burger, but unsuccessful, the beef patty was still pinkish - RAW!! Headed to Suling's place to laze and hang before cutting the lychee martini cake from Pine Garden. ROAR!

NDP 2009 Theme Song - What Do You See
Its kinda funny to approach Electrico to come out with this year National Day Theme Song, though I reckon the song had a different vibe comparing it from our past theme songs but in a good way, it did raise a few eye browns from what I read from the papers.
People commented that the melody was a challenge to remember, it sounded like Coldplay, there wasn't enough patriotic meaning in the lyrics and the list goes on. Well, we can't expect to fulfill everyone's expectation, wouldn't it be boring as hell if the melody was flat and monotonous, like a long continuous fart.... (you remember the rhythm and the smell) I'm sure it lacks the "I love Singapore" or the word "Singapore" but haven't we had enough of those days. It would be ridiculous if we name the song "Count On Me Singapore Again", "We Still Are Singapore", "One People One Nation One Singapore Part 2".
Its a change and to hell with the negativity. 'DEAL with it Singapore Singapore, together DEAL with it Singapore...............

Ion That Everyone Eye-On
No big hoo haa about The Ion, its just like any other shopping mall but with a wavy outer structure. I was quite intrigued with giant fig sculpture near the entrance, I wondered why not a durian instead. Hmmmm... Besides the basement where the food are, its actually a yawn. Posh boutiques and designer labels, not that we dun have those around now, its just that we have MORE of those crap to suck from the rich and spendthrift. The food section of the basement has an array of different tenants from the familiar to the new. Definitely more than just few are Japanese food which you will only see at The Ion, even Burger King has a posh outlook.

Adolescent Development Malfunction
Can't help but to notice this kid that is overly expressive, almost as close as a diva drag queen or an annoying school girl. Posted on facebook by a friend, I pondered how the hell did the kid managed to get that kinda you-go-GURL attitude. "I want to be Michelle Chong coz my surname is Chong" - WTF!!! Disturbing uber uber.

Singapore Idle 2009
Not being judgmental or prejudice against the contestants but after watching this, at the exact time of 0:33 - 0:36, that tubby on the left looked like he just had an orgasm. The hand movement is simply magnificent indeed. Gracefully!

First Insight Photos: Tim Burton's Alice In The Wonderland
The traditional tale has been freshened with a blast of girl power, courtesy of writer Linda Woolverton (Beauty and the Beast). Alice, 17, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to in front of hundreds of snooty society types. Off she runs, following a white rabbit into a hole and ending up in Wonderland, a place she visited 10 years before yet doesn't remember. published new images from Tim Burton's Alice In The Wonderland featuring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, Mia Wasikowska as Alice and Matt Lucas as Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

R.I.P Wii
Dinner at Shokudo was a led down with mediocre Japanese food at ridiculous price, a double whammy. We were victimized by ex-Mache owner, with the same concept, DOH!. Almost 90% of the staff are PRCs, so its a China-Japanese experience all in one. Chinopanese food.

We came back to my place with Wii, took us a freaking gawd damn hour to figure out what's wrong with the damn sensor bar. Searched online forum for solutions, which got us doing all sorts of silly positions and stupid menthods, and yes, its useless. Seriously, I reckon whichever dumbass invented the sensor bar should be sent to the torture chamber and feed his/her corpse to the dogs. In the end, this was what we did:

An altar for the sensor bar. (RIP)

Our initiate mini altar.

The Return Of The Baby Trolley Killer

Wii Must Be Crazy
A night of laughing out our lungs, we regretted we even have lungs. Now we know the addiction of Wii has imparted someone with the adrenalin pumping attitude. She was practically on steroids the whole night. She's pretty obvious in the pictures below....make a guess.

Tampines Want
Tampines One wasn't that big a deal at all, familiar stores around the mall and Uniqlo, which I dun understand why people are crazy about it, its pretty much like any other shopping malls in Singapore. I realised we're lacking creativity and better ideas, I mean freakin' hell there are 2 existing malls in Tampines, Tampines Mall and Century Square, why another mall that has similar stuff in it? Uber to the max DUMB.
Can't we have something special, a hub where specialty stuff can only be gotten from that particular mall. Just like Bras Basah to get Arts/Crafts stuff, Furniture Mall to get furniture. Making it unique, for people to make their way there to get stuff they need, rather than making it too accessible to populate more fatass around. Imagine what could happen if each particular train station has 3 malls in that area, sounds ridiculous? But clearly its happening....
Putting that aside, I was there with Jiajia to explore and of course, to eat.
